Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Grynde, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Grynde is a personal productivity app providing habit tracking, task management, journaling, and an AI thinking tool (Spar). Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable at any time without notice.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Grynde.
• One person per account — accounts are not transferable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or Grynde's systems.
• Abuse the AI Spar feature in a way that violates Google Gemini's usage policies.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the service.

5. Your content

You own all content you create in Grynde — journal entries, tasks, habits. You grant Grynde a limited licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.

6. AI features

The Spar tab uses the Google Gemini API to generate responses. AI responses are not professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise. Do not rely on them as such. AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete.

7. Availability & changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Grynde at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account menu. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Grynde is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grynde shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Grynde operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
